Monday Roast.

(Roasted Pig Cheek, Potatoes, Carrots, Shallots & broccoli.)

I remember the first time I had pig’s cheek in a restaurant. I, very indignantly, called the waitress over to tell her that I had found a tooth in my food. She looked at me, without a blink, and said “Well, you did order pig’s cheek. What did you expect?” I put my head down and shut up. She did have a point.
Do the shallots in there skins and they steam from inside.

      Ooh pig’s cheek. For some reason it has reminded me of
      getting the parson’s nose from the Sunday roast chicken! What sauce
      did you make for it?
