(Roasted Pig Cheek, Potatoes, Carrots, Shallots & broccoli.)
I remember the first time I had pig’s cheek in a restaurant. I, very indignantly, called the waitress over to tell her that I had found a tooth in my food. She looked at me, without a blink, and said “Well, you did order pig’s cheek. What did you expect?” I put my head down and shut up. She did have a point.
Do the shallots in there skins and they steam from inside.
