“What’s for dinner Daddy?” MS asked.
“Lasagne.” I replied.
“Sluuuuuuup!” He licked his lips.
“Do you like lasagne then?”
“Yeah, especially your lasagne.”
The last time I made lasagne he ended up eating 3 portions. It’s unusual for him to have seconds let alone thirds.
He must have been going through a growth spurt.

YOU KNOW ME AND PASTA BUT THAT LOOKS GOOD ENOUGH TO EAT
Just discovered your blog – I love it! And the lasagna looks fantastic. Would love the recipe! Cheers.
Thanks very much:)
I’ll try and get something posted in the next few days.
The lasagne sauce is made the same as anyone else’s; minced beef, mushrooms, garlic, onions, red pepper, chopped tomatoes and tomato puree. Not forgetting a splash of red wine and a bouquet garnet.
What’s different about mine is, instead of using a bechamel sauce between layers I use a mix of cottage cheese and grated cheeder cheese. It makes it slightly drier but much tastier. As I have said before, it’s actually my mother-in-law’s recipe and she doesn’t want anybody else to know, so don’t tell anyone, ok 😉
