Roast Chicken Drumstick, Mash Potato, Carrots & Gravy.

Sunday 13th February 2011

We’ve been away for the weekend so again I didn’t cook tonight. I made this a few weeks ago. Back to cooking tomorrow, and the washing up!

MS hasn’t stopped eating today.

Organic Coco Pops & Milk, 4 Pieces of 70% Dark Chocolate with Salt, Banana, 2 Madarines, 8 Dried Apricots, 2 Slices of Margarita Pizza, Chocolate roll, 1/2 Boiled Egg, Cheese Triangle, Cashew Nuts, Fuet, Grapes, Cereal Bar, Carton of milk, 3 Friut Biscuits, 1/2 a Hot Dog, Chips, Garlic Omlette, Cherry Tomatoes, Black Olives & a Pear.

He had been skiing all day so suppose he needed the energy.

This is the order in which I remembered it, not the order in which he ate it.

Your son seems to have very “advanced” tastes. Do all kids in England eat like this? Or just yours? ๐Ÿ™‚

    • We are very, very lucky in that my son is happy to try anything when it comes to food. He might not eat the whole plate but he’s willing to give it a go. We are also very, very lucky in that we don’t live in the UK. Here in Spain they have a very different attitude to food. Thankfully we aren’t over run by processed food and there is still a tradition of making food from scratch. So to answer your question, he’s one of a kind.

Ah, Spain! Your writing seems British to me (and that’s not intended to be an insult in any way); are you native to Spain? Just curious.

I suspect part of your son’s willingness to “give [anything] a go” is the way you are raising him; it’s lovely. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Thank you for your gracious comment. I hope we can teach him something in this life.

I’m from the Uk, near London, but I’ve lived here in Barcelona for the past 16 years.
